Speedslides, also known as speeddrifts or sd for short, is a technique done to gain speed, commonly used in Fullspeed maps.
To successfully perform a speedslide, the player must:
- have a speed of at least 400km/h.
- Then, initiate a slide and steer at a specific angle, either by tapping the key or by holding the required angle.
- Braking to initiate the speedslide is often referred to as an s4d. The acronym means that you press the brake (s) key for (4) a drift (d).
