Mostly in the games before Trackmania 2020, whenever you land from a fall, you might get a landing bug, making you lose a lot of speed. Landing bugs are very unpredictable, though there are some landing spots that tend to bug far more than others.

In Trackmania 2020, landing bugs have been minimised. When the Snow car came to TM2020, it still had the old hitbox from TMUF, which meant it could land bug a lot. This has since been fixed.
