Note: Blocks offers similar info
In Trackmania, the standard unit of distance is metres. This can be seen when using the coordinates in TMInterface as well as TMUnlimiter. The default Trackmania grid is made of cells that are 32m wide by 32m long - this describes the X and Z dimensions of a “full-size” block.
In the default game, the precision of race time is to the hundredth of a second (always rounded down), which is tied to the game’s tickrate. The timer displays the race time to the same precision. However, the Replay Editor allows setting the “start offset” of a replay to the thousandth, thereby allowing players to determine times to this precision manually. Furthermore, the TMInterface tool can calculate times to much greater precision.
The in-game speed display uses kilometres per hour (km/h). It should be noted that this display can be inaccurate in some situations, especially during airtime. TMInterface offers a “Real Speed Display” that effectively fixes this issue.
