Trackmania 2020 is similar to the previous title, in which the player has to race from start to finish as fast as possible. With the release of Trackmania 2020, features such as new surfaces (ice, plastic, wood) and a daily knockout tournament (Cup of the Day) along with a new campaign system were introduced. Trackmania 2020 offers seasonal campaigns consisting of 25 maps each (in order of difficulty - 5 white, 5 green, 5 blue, 5 red and 5 black) every 3 months. 20th Anniversary
On the anniversary of Trackmania, Nadeo announced that they would add the iconic environments from Trackmania 2003 being, Snow, Rally and Desert. This changed the game from being Stadium only, to something like Maniaplanet where its a multi environment game.
