In freecam, you can click number 8 or ↑ arrow (depends what Trackmania game), to move your camera forwards. If you keep holding forwards, the speed at which freecam is moving will accelerate potentially to infinite speeds. While using freecam, your car will not move except for Default movement. Freecam can be useful to have an overview of the map, helping you figure out the right path and find potential shortcuts and solutions.

You can also enter freecam in the replay editor by clicking a button.
